Sister Sumiyah is an active member of Masjid Al Islam, New Haven CT. She offers her knowledge and wisdom to those in need. She will be doing a two part class starting this Tuesday, April 12th inshAllah.
Sumiya has worked in various settings, including St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport and the WIC (Women, Infant, Child) Supplemental Food Program in Seymour. She serves as a consultant, authored several nutrition related articles and provides lectures and workshops in Greater New Haven.
She currently lives in Hamden with her husband and son.
