Board Meeting + BoMSA Planning Meeting - Berlin Masjid - July 8th @ 6.30PM

Asalamu Alaikum All!!

It's that time of the year a lot of you have been waiting for. It's the time the planning for the much awaited for "BATTLE OF THE MSAs"begins. If you didn't attend last year, then you missed out. But inshAllah you can make it this year! In a nutshell, it's a battle of wills, knowledge and speed. Teams from different MSA's around New England compete in their knowledge of Islam. As is our tradition, we will be providing a study guide that includes a list of recommended material for each team to study from. If you attended last year, you know you've got some serious studying to do!! And the competing teams should take it seriously! Think of it as a great way to increase your knowledge in Islam and have some fun doing it.

So for those interested in helping out with the planning, execution, marketing and anything else Battle-related, we are having a planning meeting next Friday July 8th at 6:30pm inshAllah at the Berlin Masjid. We would ask that if you are volunteering or wanting to help out that you attend the meeting since we will begin delegating assignments and tasks. If we've already contacted you about helping out, then you also need to show up for this. If you can't make it, just shoot us an email and tell us you're interested in helping out and we'll see if we can fit you in.

We also have other exciting upcoming volunteer opportunities this summer and we will be discussing those in more detail during the meeting.
